An inbox for your sessions, unread indicators, and a Dock badge. Enable Mac notifications, then click an alert to jump back to the work.

Your browser, right beside you.

Open a web page alongside your terminal. Navigate, reload, and keep a separate browser pane for each project.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Glad you
asked.

Is this a new AI coding agent?

No. Project Terminal is a workspace for the command-line tools you already use. Claude and Codex have dedicated launch buttons; any other CLI can run in a shell or custom launch profile. Install and sign in to your agents separately.

What happens when I quit the app?

The app detaches from tmux, which keeps your processes alive. Open Project Terminal again to reconnect. Sessions do not survive a Mac reboot or a stopped tmux server; saved projects, layouts, and archived scrollback return, and you can explicitly restart stopped sessions.

Does my terminal output go to the cloud?

Project Terminal stores workspace metadata locally and keeps scrollback in local tmux memory and local text archives. It doesn't send terminal output to an AI service to name sessions. Commands and agents you choose to run may connect to their own services under your existing settings.

What do I need to run it?

A Mac running macOS 14 or later. The downloadable app includes tmux, so you do not need Swift, Xcode, or Homebrew to use terminals. Optional Claude Code and Codex installation is offered on first launch. Check the download page for architecture and release status.
